The Holiday Inn Express is attached to the Crown Plaza Convention Center. The Crown Plaza is where our banquet is and where our Thursday registration meet and greet will happen. Thursday registration is at The Long 9 Lounge inside Crowne Plaza.
The Long 9 Lounge, with its oversized chairs, dark wood molding, and fireplaces is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy a drink after dinner to relax after a long day of meetings. Our Bar & Grill offers four large flat-screen TV's so you will not miss the big game. We offer lounge and bar seating with soft leather couches and table seating throughout. Our lounge is also home to "Regal Slots"! Today could be your lucky day.

Thursday Arrival Itinerary

Friday Itinerary
We all meet in the parking lot around 8am for roll call and drivers meeting. We head south on Historic Route 66 for a fun filled day of stops along the Mother Road. We will go no further than St. Louis and will not go into the city. It's about a 2-hour drive one way. Lunch at approx. noon and more stops on the way back to the hotel hoping to make it back around 2:30p or 3p. Stops to be announced
Then at 3-4p we go across the street to The Route 66 City Nights Cruise. A major highlight of the International Route 66 Mother Road Festival, this police-escorted cruise features hundreds of classic cars, muscle cars, and hot rods parading into downtown Springfield. The cruise starts at 6pm and takes approx. 2 hours to cruise downtown. 1000’s of people line the roadway and cheer us on. https://route66fest.com/
After the cruise we all head to Route 66 Motorheads Bar & Grill, Museum and Entertainment Complex for dinner. Motorheads is the coolest place to bring your family and friends for great food and unique atmosphere!
